The Colombian authorities seized 600 kilos of cocaine and more than 3 tons of marijuana, in 2 operations carried out in the department of Goal (center) and in Pacific waters, actions that left 6 detainees.

The Navy reported this Friday in a statement that the three tons of marijuana were transported in a semi-submersible that was sailing towards Central America.

The device, manned by 3 Colombians, was 15 meters long and 3 meters wide. During the inspection, 108 packages with marijuana were found.

The cache together with the detainees were taken to the town of tumaco (Southwest) where it was specified that the marijuana weighed 3,319 kilos.

On the other hand, the Colombian police arrested 3 people on a highway in the center of the country who were carrying 600 kilos of cocaine hidden in industrial machinery, which was transported in a truck, the institution reported this Friday.

The vehicle was requisitioned in a sector of the Pipiral toll, on the highway between Bogota and Villavicenciothe capital of the department of Goal.

A statement from the Police He explained that the agents required two men who were traveling on two motorcycles and that they began to act suspiciously, so they continued with their inquiries until the detainees stated that they were guarding a truck.

The vehicle was seized and 600 kilos of cocaine were found. The cargo, the vehicles and the three men were made available to the prosecution.
