Garcia considered that it is “very worrying” that Arce has become the “worst enemy” of the MAS and especially of Morales and explained that a possible ignorance, suspension or expulsion from the party should be dealt with in a national party congress.

For now, the national leadership of the MAS resolved to veto the participation of state officials and designated authorities, that is, ministers, deputy ministers, and directors, in its meetings and congresses, considering that they cannot be “judge and jury” in the evaluations of authorities and that some generate internal division in the party.

The masista leadership will also have a meeting of “political evaluation” with national, departmental and union leaders on June 22 in the central region of Cochabamba and another one day later with his deputies and senators in the same department.
