The speech of Eduardo Bolsonaro that will be analyzed by the Federal Police at the request of the Minister of Justice

The Minister of Justice of Brazil, Flávio Dino, reported on Monday, July 10, on Twitter that he ordered that the speeches delivered this Sunday at an arms rally held in Brasilia be analyzed. According to the EFE agency, this investigation refers to a speech by the deputy eduardo bolsonaroson of the former president Jair Bolsonaro.

“I ordered the Federal Police to analyze the speeches made this Sunday in an arms rally held in Brasilia. The objective is to identify indications of possible crimes, in particular the incitement or apology of criminal acts,” the minister said in his publication.

According to EFE, the announcement of this investigation refers to the speech that Eduardo Bolsonaro gave, on Sunday, in an act of a group known as Pro Armas.

The aforementioned act, developed in Brasilia, brought together at least 300 people. At the event, Eduardo Bolsonaro said that Brazil with Lula “is on the same path as Venezuela” and pointed out that currently in his country there is “ideological indoctrination” in schools and universities, according to EFE.

“There is no difference between an indoctrinating teacher and a drug dealer, who tries to kidnap our children and take them to the world of crime. And perhaps an indoctrinating professor is even worse,” Eduardo Bolsonaro said at the event on Sunday.

Eduardo Bolsonaro also spoke on Twitter on July 10 about the Minister of Justice.

“That a Minister of Justice mobilize the Federal Police to investigate my analogy about doctrinaires, who take advantage of the position of teachers to enslave them ideologically, to act as drug traffickers who enslave them through drugs, both situations fostered by the The absence of parents in their children’s daily lives is one more step in the escalation of authoritarianism in Brazil,” said Eduardo Bolsonaro.

The deputy said that he finds it regrettable to see that the Federal Police is “used politically to satisfy the autocratic desires of the communists, while the real criminals do not seem to bother so much.”

According to EFE, Eduardo Bolsonaro’s statements have been considered by some left-wing parties as “incitement to violence against teachers.”

The Single Central of Workers of Sao Paulo (CUT Sao Paulo) pointed out that it “vehemently repudiates the gratuitous attack by federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro on teachers throughout the country during a speech at a pro-arms event, organized by extreme right-wing groups, this Sunday the 9th in Brasilia”.

“We hope that the conduct of deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, which is indecent to say the least, will be appreciated by the Ethics Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, as well as by the competent authorities,” said the CUT Sao Paulo.

For its part, the Union of Official Teaching Teachers of the State of Sao Paulo (APEOESP) issued a “note of repudiation” regarding the statements of Eduardo Bolsonaro.

“Education is the main path for Brazil to achieve sustainable and sovereign development, with social justice. And teachers are builders of that future,” says the union.

The deputy Tabata Amaral was also against the statements of the son of Jair Bolsonaro.

“This speech by Eduardo Bolsonaro makes clear his ignorance and bad character. It is speeches like this that contribute to making Brazil one of the countries that values its teachers the least. Nasty!” he tweeted.

Eduardo Bolsonaro is the third son of Bolsonaro. He is a federal representative of the Liberal Party for the state of Sao Paulo. On his Twitter, he indicates that he is the federal deputy with the most votes in the history of Brazil.
