Former Panamanian President Martinelli sentenced to almost 11 years in prison for money laundering

The ex-president Panamanian Ricardo Martinelliwho aspires to return to power in 2024, was sentenced to almost 11 years in prison for money laundering during his tenure (2009-2014), in a sentence that the former ruler will appeal and that he considers part of a plan to disqualify him.
