Four Australian soldiers missing in helicopter crash

Four Australian soldiers were missing after a helicopter crash off the country’s northeast coast that led to the halting of joint military exercises with USAAustralian Defense Minister Richard Marles said on Saturday.

He MRH-90 Taipan helicopter plunged into the sea on Friday night and, almost twelve hours later, “the four crew members have yet to be found”Marles said.

The Defense authorities announced the suspension of some important joint exercises of USA and Australiawith some 30,000 troops deployed, while the search for the missing continues.
