“The migrants were sent to INM as victims of crime for the deprivation of their personal liberty”, the agency said in a statement.

Among the victims were a woman and 41 adult men, a family nucleus made up of a mother, father and son, and two unaccompanied minors. Of all of them, 46 were originally from India.

“The family and the two young men were directed to the Specialized Victim Care Group of the municipal police and shelters of the Family Child Development (DIF) state, and adults to an INM headquarters for care and assistance”, the authorities specified.

In addition, the INM, dependent on the Ministry of the Interior (Ministry of the Interior), indicated that it will provide exit documents for regularization purposes for humanitarian reasons to migrants.
