King Charles III appreciates the support in his first year as monarch

The king Charles III On Friday, he thanked the public for their support during his first year as monarch, also remembering the “devoted service” from his mother the queen Isabel IIdied a year ago.

“To mark the first anniversary of His Majesty’s death and my accession to the throne, we remember with great affection his long life, his devoted service and all he meant to so many of us.“he said in a message.

Isabel II, queen for 70 years, was the longest-serving British monarch. She passed away at age 96 on September 8, 2022, after a period of deteriorating health.

Carlos, 74 years old, is currently in balmoralthe extensive estate of the royal family in the Highlands of Scotland in which Elizabeth II died, and is not expected to make any public appearance.

The first Minister Rishi Sunak also paid tribute to the late queen, whose long reign came to symbolize post-war history in United Kingdom and its values.
