Hezbollah says it “destroyed” an Israeli tank with two guided missiles

The Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah announced today that it launched two guided missiles against an Israeli tank and “completely” destroyed it, amid renewed hostilities in the border area between Lebanon and Israel, where cross-border attacks were recorded during Tuesday afternoon. .

“In response to Israeli attacks that targeted several observation positions in the Islamic resistance, This afternoon our fighters attacked with two guided missiles, an Israeli Zelda-type tank, which was hit and completely destroyed,” the political and armed movement said in a statement.

According to the brief note, the tank was hit in the area of Avivimin the north of Israelwhich had already been the target last night of another launch of the Hezbollah.

After several rockets were launched today from southern Lebanon by unknown persons, the Israeli Army responded by attacking two observation posts belonging to the formation, as confirmed by Jewish State forces in a statement.

When Hezbollah launched the missiles against the tank in Avivim, Israel responded again with an aerial bombardment on another observation post belonging to the Lebanese group, explained the Israeli Army when ruling out casualties among its forces.

For its part, the Lebanese Army reported that during the afternoon there were also several Israeli artillery attacks against points in the southern district of Tire, while the National News Agency (ANN) reported the fall of phosphorus bombs in Al Mari and Majidiya.
