Hamas attack in Israel: missing, French woman Celine Ben David Nagar died

Frenchwoman Celine Ben David Nagar, who disappeared in Israel after the Hamas attack on October 7, has been found dead, confirmed Parisian Yael Krief, a relative of the young mother, confirming information to Actu Lyon. “Celine was killed, the family is devastated,” she admitted.

The 32-year-old French-Israeli mother of a six-month-old child disappeared after going to a music festival in the desert in the south of the Jewish state, which was attacked by Hamas terrorists.

Her relatives hoped that she was taken hostage by militants of an Islamist organization and taken to the Gaza Strip.

“We don’t know if she’s alive, we don’t know if she was killed,” Yael Krief told us on October 10.

“The last message Celine sent to her husband was: don’t worry, the soldiers are here. And today we know that these were not Israeli soldiers, but Hamas terrorists disguised as soldiers,” explained a close friend of the young woman. Celine Ben David Nagar’s empty and bullet-riddled car was then found by her husband.

“I want to believe she’s alive”

The latter, for his part, told the BBC that he “no longer eats or sleeps” after his disappearance. “You’re not sleeping, you’re not eating and you’re in some kind of crazy limbo,” he told a British television station.

“I would like to believe that she is alive there in Gaza, and perhaps she is taking care of the children who were kidnapped with her. “I just hope that she knows that we are fighting for her and that she will tell herself that she will come home,” he added.

According to the latest report from the French Foreign Ministry on Sunday, 19 French people have died after Hamas attacks in Israel and 13 are missing.
