Russia has taken new steps to debunk the rumor that Vladimir Putin has died and been replaced by one of his physical doppelgängers.

The Kremlin released an extraordinary statement insisting: “We have only one Putin.”

It follows a wave of speculation that the president died last month after a long battle with cancer and that one – or more – of his lookalikes have taken his place.

Russian search engine Yandex has seen a record number of queries about the death of the 71-year-old dictator.

A Japanese study using high-tech AI science suggests there are multiple Putins, believed to be actors who underwent plastic surgery and training by his former KGB intelligence agency.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov directly addressed the speculation at a major exhibition in Moscow dedicated to Russian achievements, telling the crowd: “You know, I assume you have read several Telegram channels.” [which report} on the number of doubles of President Putin.

‌‘Experts are guessing, are there three or four doubles?

‌‘The one we are seeing daily, that one who was laying flowers at the …monument [on Red Square] this morning… Was that double number three or double number four?

“But we only have one Putin.”

He was greeted with laughter and applause by an invited loyalist audience.

Several Russian sources have accused the Kremlin of hiding from the world that Putin died of chronic cancer last month in the middle of the war against Ukraine.

There are now even claims that his relatives held a vigil for the late dictator.

The suggestion borders on the absurd if you assume that his entourage is responsible for one or more Putin look-alikes, manipulating them like puppets – and at the same time exercising control over the nuclear button.

Many dismiss these stories as conspiracy theories.

There is also a version that claims it is a ploy by Putin to smoke out his enemies.

Nevertheless, Peskov took the time to formulate a denial. For the third time this year, he dismissed the doppelgänger speculation.

The latest photos of Putin, taken on Russia’s Unity Day on Saturday, show the Russian president meeting several people as he lays flowers at a monument on Red Square.

“They are in stark contrast to Putin, who retreated into isolation during the pandemic.

Even as Covid runs rampant again in Russia, propaganda images show him in close proximity to leaders of different faiths in Moscow, hugging a tragic boy whose father was killed on the third day of his invasion of Ukraine, which has now cost hundreds of thousands of people. .

The boy told the autocrat that, like his father, he was going to the Moscow Presidential Cadet School to become a soldier.

The Telegram channel General SVR tells its followers that Russia is now secretly controlled by a mastermind: the extremely anti-Western Nikolai Patrushev, Putin’s top security advisor and former FSB chief.

Russian political analyst Valery Solovey – former professor at the renowned Institute of International Relations in Moscow [MGIMO]a training academy for spies and diplomats – also emphasizes that Putin has died.

“He died on Thursday, October 26, around 8:40 p.m.,” he claimed in an interview with respected Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon.

‘Now he is in the cold room of his house in Valdai.

“Humiliating, isn’t it? Well, probably rightly so. There is no doubt about his physical death. Absolutely none, not the slightest.”

Last month, Peskov emphasized: “This one [kinds of stories] belong to the category of fake news, which is reported by countless media with enviable persistence.

“It produces nothing but a smile.” [in the Kremlin].’

In April, Peskov admitted there had been widespread reports of Putin’s doppelgänger, but claimed the warmonger was “megaactive.”

“You may have heard that Putin has several lookalikes working in his place while he sits in a bunker,” he said.

“That’s more lies.” That’s another lie. You see our president. “He is exactly the same as he was: super active.”

Meanwhile, there is speculation that Putin will soon announce a new six-year term as Russian president.
