Argentina: young man stabbed to death by gang in Buenos Aires

An eighteen-year-old boy named Tomás Tello Ferreira was stabbed to death by a gang in Santa Teresita, a tourist city in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentinaduring New Year celebrations, police sources reported.

The attack took place on the seafront of Santa Teresacity ​​located 326 kilometers west of the Argentine capital, when a group of young people cornered him, punched and kicked him and attacked him in the chest with a knife.

Witness statements and security camera footage allowed police to arrest seven people shortly after the attack, and two more people later. Among those arrested are two minors.
