Israel says it is prepared “on all fronts” after the assassination of Hamas number 2

The military spokesman for the Army of IsraelDaniel Hagari said this Tuesday that forces are prepared “on all fronts”, at a press conference shortly after the deadly attack in Beirut against Hamas’ number two, Saleh Al Arouri.

Hagari did not comment anything about this attack attributed to Israel -which normally does not confirm or deny this type of actions- and He highlighted that the Army is “at a very high level of preparation on all fronts, both defensively and offensively.”

“We are prepared for any scenario,” added Hagari, who guaranteed that Israeli forces will “continue fighting with Hamas” in Gazawhere they continue to fight in a war that has lasted 88 days and which has led to a sharp escalation of tension throughout the region.

Al Arouri died this afternoon in a drone attack in a southern neighborhood of the Lebanese capital, Beirutarea that is considered a stronghold of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollahally of Hamasand that almost since the beginning of the war it has been involved in hostilities against Israel on the border between Lebanese territory and the Jewish State.

Saleh Al Arourimember of the political cabinet of Hamas and one of the founders of its armed wing, he was one of the most prominent leaders in exile of the formation, which has several representatives in the Lebanonas well as in other countries in the region.

Furthermore, he was considered one of the leaders of the Hamas who planned armed actions against Israel from abroad.
