The documents are part of a defamation action filed in 2015 by Virginia Giuffreone of Epstein’s main accusers, against his former lover and companion, the British heiress Ghislaine Maxwellcurrently sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping the financier sexually abuse minors.

The files confirm Epstein’s ties to prominent figures such as prince andrew of England or the former president Bill Clintonalthough it is expected that many of the names mentioned are already known, as they were identified during the 2021 trial against Maxwell or because they have already given interviews or been the subject of complaints.

Furthermore, being mentioned in the documents does not imply any type of guilt, as they include everything from anecdotes told by witnesses to lists of potential interviewees.
