Israel and Hamas agree to exchange medicines for civilians in Gaza and Israeli hostages

In return, the spokesperson explained to Qatar’s official news agency QNA, the “necessary medicines for Israeli captives in Gaza.”

These medicines and aid “will leave Doha tomorrow for the city of Al Arish”, in Egypt, aboard two Qatar Armed Forces planes, in preparation for transport to the Gaza Strip, according to Al Ansari.

Four days ago, the Israeli Prime Minister’s office announced that the parties to the conflict had reached an agreement to deliver medicines to the 136 Israeli hostages still held captive in Gaza, but to this day No date has been set for his arrival and Doha has also not commented on the matter.

However, Qatar – the main mediator, along with Egypt and the United States, in the Gaza war – It did not detail how the medicines would be delivered to the hostages.

During the release of the hostages in the truce at the end of November, it was the International Committee of the Red Cross, as mediator, who was in charge of facilitating the process of leaving the captives from Gaza to Israel.
