Haiti: at least a dozen dead after gang attack on Port-au-Prince prison

At least a dozen people died after last night’s attack on the civil prison in Port Prince by armed gangs, who reportedly freed numerous high-profile criminals during the prison attack.

EFE was able to see the bodies of at least 10 people in the vicinity of the prison, some of them torn apart by dogs, following a night marked by violence, without the Government having yet commented on the situation.

According to versions circulating on the networks, the next objective of the armed groups would be precisely the National Palace.

The gangs use the networks to reveal their plans to take control of all State institutions, with the aim of overthrowing the Government.
