Nikki Haley, Donald Trump’s only rival in the Republican primaries, will end her campaign

She was the last to face Donald Trump in the Republican primaries. Candidate Nikki Haley, the former American president’s only opponent, will end her White House campaign this Wednesday, several US media outlets announced. She is expected to make the announcement at 10 a.m. local time (4 p.m. France) from Charleston (southeast), the capital of the state of South Carolina, where she was governor.

This announcement was made after Election Day. Super Tuesday, in which Donald Trump won a triumphant victory. On Tuesday’s big election day, he won almost every state – 14 out of 15. Among them are California, North Carolina, Texas and Alaska. But the 50-year-old denied 77-year-old Donald Trump a Grand Slam by winning Vermont, a sparsely populated state bordering Canada.

Surrounded by his supporters gathered at his luxury Florida residence, Donald Trump greeted Tuesday with a “wonderful evening, an incredible day.” Since January 15, despite problems with the law, Donald Trump has won almost all of the primaries organized by his party. His first criminal trial will begin on March 25 in New York.

The businessman claims he is “much more popular” because he has been criminally charged four times, but a number of polls suggest support for his candidacy would fall significantly if he is convicted in one of his criminal cases. Joe Biden, who is struggling in the election, will defend his record and lay out his vision for America on Thursday during the traditional State of the Union address.
