Venezuela rejects “undue comments” from Guyana on the law creating a region in Essequibo

This Friday, Guyana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described “flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Guyana” the approval of the ‘Organic Law for the Defense of Guyana Essequiba‘, which creates a state of the same name that is added to the Venezuelan map.

In this regard, Guyana He called on the international community to “defend the rule of law by rejecting Venezuela’s illegal expansionism.”

Likewise, the Administration of Nicolás Maduro assured that already “informed the international community that the aforementioned legal instrument aims to defend and preserve the sovereign and unquestionable rights of Venezuela in the territory.”
