María Corina Machado warns of a “maneuver” to “prevent the registration” of her candidate Corina Yoris

The opposition leader Venezuelan María Corina Machado warned this Saturday of the implementation of a “maneuver” that aims to “prevent the registration” of the candidacy for the July 28 presidential elections of Corina Yoris, chosen by the anti-Chavista majority as their candidate in the face of the disqualification that prevents her from competing with the former -liberal representative.

“I alert Venezuelans and the world about the ongoing maneuver to prevent the registration with the CNE (National Electoral Council) of the candidate of the entire democratic unit of Venezuela, Corina Yoris”, wrote Machado on the social network X.

The registration period for presidential candidates, which began on Thursday, ends next Monday, March 25, according to the electoral calendar.
