UK Police Will Not Investigate Prince Andrew On Child Sexual Abuse Charge

“As a matter of procedure, Metropolitan Police officers examined a document released in August 2021 as part of a civil action by the United States,” Scotland Yard said in a statement late Sunday. “This review has concluded and we will not take any further action”, He added, specifying that he will continue to collaborate with other agencies in the framework of the investigation.

The police also confirmed that they had concluded the examination of the charges of trafficking in women and minors against the British citizen Ghislaine Maxwell, ex-girlfriend of Epstein, and decided not to take further action.

Andrés, 61, who denies the accusations against him, is accused of having “sexually assaulted” Giuffre, then a minor, on three occasions: in London at Maxwell’s house and at Epstein’s estates in New York and the British Virgin Islands.

The queen’s son “categorically” denied these allegations in an interview with the BBC in November 2019, in which he expressed neither regret for his friendship with Epstein nor empathy for his victims.

Despite his denials, his association with the American financier caused a great scandal and forced him to withdraw from public life.
