A group of protesters clashed this Tuesday night with riot police near the Embassy of Israel at the mexican capitalduring a protest against Israeli attacks on the city of Rafain the south of Gaza stripconfirmed AFP.
The protesters, some of them hooded, threw stones and firebombs at a police squad that was blocking access to the diplomatic headquarters, in the affluent sector of Chapultepec Lomas.

The agents, in turn, responded with tear gas, noted an AFP reporter present at the scene. A photographer covering the skirmishes received a stone in the earwhich caused bleeding.
In the protest, called “Urgent Action for RafahAround 200 people participated via social media, of which around thirty began to leave and remove the metal fences that prevented access to the embassy, which put the police on alert.
In the midst of the confrontation, the agents, protected by shields, not only responded to the protesters with gas, but also threw back the stones with which they were initially attacked, the AFP team confirmed.
