Lima Stock Market opens higher this Monday, April 24

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) opened this Monday, April 24 with its main stock market indices rising, while at the political level, the Executive made ministerial changes.

At the average of 09:30 am, the S&P/BVL Peru General Index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, registered a variation of 0.10% and was located at 22,304.98 points.

For its part, the S&P/BVL Peru Selective Index, which is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, recorded a positive variation of 0.25% to 573.66 points.

The sectors that showed positive variations were Financials, Industrials and Construction with 0.71%, 0.15% and 0.22%, respectively. Consume and Mining were down with 0.02% and 0.19%.

Among the companies whose shares were trading higher were Amazon, Austral Group, Credicorp, Cementos Pacasmayo. At the bottom were Minas Buenaventura and Minera San Ignacio de Morococha.

A few days after completing five months from the beginning of her government, President Dina Boluarte made a new adjustment to the Ministerial Cabinet, which is currently directed by Alberto Otárola. The changes were in the portfolios of Justice and Human Rights, Education, Labor and Foreign Trade, and Tourism.
