Kurt and the challenge that his music “remains in time”

some days ago, Kurt announced that one of his great dreams had come true. This is the recording of the song “For your love”, no less than next to Sting.

“Pass from generation to generation”

With 32 years of age and 8 years of career, Kurt looks back and reveals that he still has many challenges to meet but that as an artist “knowing how to stay” is a daily struggle.

“Finding your full place in music, for your audience to continue to come to your concerts and continue to grow in a certain way and pass from generation to generation, is what I’m fighting for now.” He tells us in an interview with this newspaper.

And with his second album called “Life”, released three years after his debut album “In the middle of this noise”, Kurt affirms that if there is something that describes this new work, it is maturity. “the first album was me at 30 and the second at 33. It would be very strange to express myself as I expressed myself and felt things before. Now it’s different, that’s why this new album “Life” has a different degree of maturity, because I am in a different time of my life”.

With the pandemic in between

Like many artists and mortals in general, the pandemic that immobilized the world for two years, marked him and led him to pay attention to those things that before, in the midst of the hustle and bustle that a life of concerts, interviews and others demanded, did not toward.

“I think the pandemic made us all look in the mirror to face all those demons. And apparently, I had many that I had inadvertently accumulated. So the songLife” It brought me so many answers at a very chaotic time in my life and it became very special to me. It is a mantra, I listen to it and it does me good to listen to it. And if someone else had sung it, I would comment on the song in the same way and it would do me a lot of good. It’s not so much about saying: ‘I did it’ but to put it at the service of others”.

Kurt is currently on tour throughout Mexico, and has let us know of his desire to sing in Peru. “I would love to, I hope there will be something with this tour very soon. I want to go to Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Chile”, finished.
