Cuarteto de Nos returns to Peru with two concerts in Lima and Arequipa

the uruguayan band “Quartet of Us” he will return to our country as part of his last tour with two unmissable dates. The reunion with his Peruvian fans will be on April 21 at the Parque de la Exposicion Amphitheater in Lima and on April 23 at the Fénix Theater in Arequipa.

During the time of the pandemic, “El Cuarteto de Nos” dedicated itself to producing new material and celebrated the 15th anniversary of its album “Raro” by releasing a vinyl to honor it. At the end of September 2021, the group premiered “Fiesta en lo del Dr Hermes”, a theme that creates a universe where reality converges with the fantastic.

The Quartet gives us a song with a raw concept and hard content. This new theme came out accompanied by an impressive video directed by Cali Ameglio, which captures this rare party, inspired by the fantastic universe that the great Uruguayan writer Mario Levrero proposes in his books, of which both the members of the band, Musso and Ameglio, they are admirers.

On February 17, 2022, it was the turn of a second premiere: “The city without a soul”, which had the particularity of having an unconventional launch. The Uruguayan group organized a “Conversation” in the middle of the courtyard of a former prison, which is located in the Contemporary Art Space (EAC), where they reflected on the soul of cities as a trigger theme.

“The city without a soul” is another song with a sharp look at the reality that surrounds us and that leaves marked phrases such as “In the city without a soul, desire is cold and emotion is frozen”, “in the city without a soul, value is less content than the packaging” or “being a witness hidden in its corners, facing a merciless war, surrendering to its conspiracies, or going far away never to return”.

“Cuarteto de Nos” has also just launched its own record label Porfiado Records in alliance with Altafonte for digital distribution.

At the end of 2021, “Cuarteto de Nos” began with its post-pandemic shows on a tour that it called “Un Jueves Raro”, alluding to its latest album and the celebration of RARO’s 15th anniversary. The first ones took place in Montevideo in October, followed by Luna Park in Buenos Aires and closing the year at Enjoy in Punta del Este.

This tour concept will culminate with the May 2022 shows, and then start the presentation tour of the next album, where new singles will gradually be presented until beginning with the 2022-2023 Tour of the new release at the end of the year.

With several of their most recent shows sold out, the Uruguayan group is getting ready to celebrate a reunion awaited for more than two years by their Peruvian fans. “Cuarteto de Nos” will present their best-known songs and their new singles live, in addition to the songs from their most recent album “Jueves” and will also celebrate the 15th anniversary of their album “Raro” together with the Peruvian public.
