“All of us are dead” or “We are dead” is a series written by Chun Sung-il and directed by Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-Su. It premiered on Friday, January 28, 2022 through the Netflix streaming platform. The drama of Korean origin has 12 episodes that have captivated the public in the blink of an eye, positioning the series as the most watched content of the moment. Each episode of the series has an average duration of one hour, they vary from 50 to 70 minutes.

The sci-fi drama is based on Joo Dong-geun’s webtoon “Naver Now at Our School” which recounts a similar plot about a group of students trapped in Hyonsan High after a deadly virus spreads, which has turned the population into zombies thirsty for human flesh. The plot touches on topics such as bullying, human survival, friendship, love, and of course, it has its bloody share.

Everything seems to indicate that the South Korean audiovisual industry continues to flourish and globalize, reaching the world stature of the North American. “We are dead” reached #1 in the 10th ranking on the streaming platform after its premiere on Friday, January 28. Also known in English as “All of us are dead”, the k-drama became the most popular of the summer of 2022, surpassing titles such as “I am Georgina”, “Ozark”, “Coffee with the aroma of a woman” and “ Archive 81″.
