Sergio “Checho” Cuadros will celebrate his twelfth anniversary of artistic career as “El caballero de la quena”

Peruvian musician Sergio “Checho” Cuadros is currently considered one of the 10 best quena players in the world. With a considerable career in which he has dedicated himself to showing the feeling, technique and virtuosity of this instrument and all its possibilities in both national and international music; He is preparing to give a special concert this November 24 at the Miraflores lounge bar “Cocodrilo Verde”, as he celebrates the 12th anniversary of his artistic career.

The harmonious evening will take a tour of Andean and Latin American music, merging with other popular rhythms. The Flor de Loto band and the renowned musician Diosdado Gaitán Castro will also perform, with very special collaborations.

Much of the fame of “Checho” is due to social networks, since he managed to captivate thousands of people on his YouTube channel through videos in which he interprets various Andean versions of soundtracks from series such as “Game of Thrones”, ” Dragon Ball Z” and “The Squid Game”, as well as movies like “Frozen” and “Aladdin”; in which he only makes use of a quena, zampoña and charango.

Over the years, and after offering successful tours of Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway and Germany; in addition to his collaborations with the tenor Juan Diego Flórez, Los Hermanos Diosdado and Rodolfo Gaitán Castro; the interpreter has decided to celebrate this event in his native country, along with his Inka Latin Jazz project.
