Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona will offer an extension of its “Blanco y negro” tour through more than 20 cities in the United States starting next April, with Seattle (northwest of the country) as a starting point, the production company announced Wednesday.

The “Black and White: Back” tour will start on April 28 in the city in the state of Washington and will end on June 25 in Miami, according to the itinerary published this Wednesday by the company Live and Loud.

Arjona, who turns 59 on Thursday, will also take his music to cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Diego, Boston, San Francisco, Reading, Orlando, Houston, Portland, Austin, Kansas and Minneapolis, during his tour.

On June 18, the Guatemalan will perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“Loud And Live had the honor of producing their Blanco y Negro Tour last year with 35 shows in the United States and Ecuador, making it one of the most successful tours of all time”shared Nelson Albareda, CEO and founder of Loud And Live.

The singer-songwriter published his albums “Blanco” and “Negro” at the end of 2021, which were followed in February 2022 by the book “Blanco y Negro”, a project in which he addresses “his childhood, his adolescence and the moments that led to the composition.

More than a million and a half people watched live Arjona’s previous tour, “Circo Soledad”, and more than 3 million attended “Hecho a la antigua”, the most viewed streaming in the history of Ibero-American music and for which Arjona was nominated for a Grammy Award.

“From his iconic lyrics to his distinctive voice, this true renaissance man has transcended the borders of his native Guatemala to become a universal music icon”said Nelson Albareda.
