Diego Torres publishes “It seems a lie”, a ballad about the end of a love

The Argentine singer-songwriter Diego Torres released this Thursday the single “Parece Mentira”, a ballad that aims to become a “new hymn for the end of love”, as the record company Sony Music Latin pointed out.

The song, co-written by Torres, “showcases her exceptional vocal range and emotional depth as she sings about heartbreak and narrates loss by recounting those moments of emotional grief,” the Miami-based record label said in a statement.

The song is published accompanied by a video directed by Julián Levy, in which the Argentine participates along with the actress Gabriela Sari, and which “captures the raw emotions and the nostalgia of goodbye that the lyrics of the song evoke,” added Sony.

The interpreter, born in Buenos Aires, began his career in the early 1990s and achieved popularity as an actor in Argentine soap operas, but almost immediately made the leap into music with his debut album “Diego Torres” (1992), which it was an instant hit.
