Colombian singer Maluma announced this Tuesday that, after a year of absence from concerts, starting next August 31, it will be presented again in 30 cities in the United States with the show “Don Juan World Tour”.
“I am excited to return to the stage in the United States this fall. I’ve taken a year to focus on perfecting what I consider the best album of my career, ‘Don Juan’”assured Maluma in a press release.
The singer further asserted that he is eager to introduce his fans for the first time to the new songs from the album, which will also be accompanied by his greatest hits in what the artist believes will be “the most ambitious concert production to date”.
Maluma will begin his stage on August 31 in the city of Sacramento (California) and will conclude on November 4 in the city of Miami (Florida).
The Colombian “promises to surprise thousands of fans” with his hits like “Hawai”, “Felices los Cuatro”, “Sobrio” and his most recent song “Diablo, que chimba” with the Puerto Rican singer, Anuel AA.
Maluma, winner of a Latin Grammy for best album and a Latin Billboards, has managed to conquer massive audiences around the world and has become one of the most innovative exponents of reggaeton and Colombia.
In March, the reggaeton singer released the official video for “La Reina”, which praised the courage of 17 diverse women by showing the powerful stories of their protagonists to turn the single into an ode to feminine beauty.
“For me, the most important thing about this song was that the protagonist was not me, but that it really was them and all the women in the whole world who are going to feel identified”Maluma expressed at that time.
