“Across the sea” on Netflix: what does the post-credits scene mean in the sequel to “Through my window”?

The streaming giant Netflix premiered his new movieAcross the sea” last Friday June 23rd. With the return of the actors Clara Galle and Julio Peña in the leading roles, the sequel to “through my window” has been a success and managed to rank in the Top 10 of the most viewed films in Peru over the weekend. Although the third installment will still arrive next year, some snippets have already been revealed in the post-credits scene.

To find out what will happen to the relationship between Raquel and Ares, the characters created by the author Ariana Godoy, we will have to wait a few months. But, to give you an idea of the plot, here we explain what the extra scene of “Across the Sea” means.

(SPOILER ALERT: details of what happens at the end of “Across the Sea” will follow.)

At the end of “Through the Sea”, Raquel (Clara Galle) and Ares (Julio Peña) end their relationship due to misunderstandings that they were unable to discuss and resolve. After the loss of her best friend Yoshi (Guillermo Lasheras), the protagonist will try to continue with her life thanks to the support of Daniela (Natalia Azahara) and her mother. But, upon learning that, before he died, Yoshi wrote to a publisher so that he could publish his book “Through my window”, Raquel decides to end that episode in her life and closes the window through which her ex-partner used to go up to your room; giving -somehow- a closure to her love story.

But, that is not the last that we would know of Raquel and Ares in “Across the sea”. After the credits, Netflix included a clip that lasts less than a minute, in which you can see small fragments of what will happen in the third film of this saga, which will be entitled “Through your gaze.”

The first thing you see is Raquel writing on her laptop what appears to be her second book. “It all started with a goodbye”is the first sentence. Seconds later, we’ll see her at her iconic window, and just ahead, Ares is watching her from his room. She quickly closes the window and the curtains, leaving her ex-partner with a sad expression on her face.

In the next scene, the group of friends is at a table enjoying food until Ares starts tapping Raquel under the table with his foot and the situation between them becomes tense. That same day, but already in a nightclub, Ares is dancing with Vera (Andrea Chaparro) and Raquel with Gregory (Iván Lapadula); but they can’t help but touch their fingers.

The next thing that is seen intrigues the viewers even more because it seems that, in the middle of a night of intense rain, Ares goes to the window that overlooks Raquel’s room, climbs up and sneaks into her bed. Although, seconds later, we realize that he didn’t wake up in that room. With this preview of “Through Your Look”, fans of the saga already have among their chances that Raquel and Ares get back together. Will it be so?

It should be noted that the video does not have any dialogue, so everything described is the interpretation of the actions of the characters.

The end of “Across the Sea” leaves more questions than answers, which must be resolved in “Through your gaze”, the third film already confirmed by Netflix. During TUDUM 2023, the streaming giant confirmed that the new installment will reach its service in 2024.

When summer arrives and they meet again, the period of separation and the new people they have met in that time will make what they thought safe begin to falter.cites the synopsis shared by Netflix.
