Resident launches “Bajo y Batería”, a new ‘tiradera’ in which he attacks Cosculluela

Resident did it again. The Puerto Rican singer launched a new tiradera called “Bajo y Batería”, in the song he attacks the reggaeton player Cosculluela, who had complaints of family violence.

As recalled, the conflict between René y Cosculluela started in 2022after the reggaeton player made a homophobic comment on a photo of the singers Tokischa and Villano Antillano.

Given this fact, Cosculluela made a song in which he accused Residente of composing songs with a social theme without knowing the reality of his country. However, René defended himself by suggesting that this song was made to relaunch the reggaetonero’s career using the controversy with the 45-year-old rapper.

For his part, the rapper Residente mentioned in his song “Bajo y Batería” the 13 charges of domestic violence that Cosculluela had.

“He wants to be a bichote and a priest at the same time / The buddy is confused / He reads the Bible, but he hits his wife by the coconut / With his invented religion / He hits ‘pregnant’ women / He smashes them against the ground / For more that you pray, pigs like you do not go to heaven “, Residente said in his song.

In this sense, the interpreter of “Atrévete-te-te” referred to other artists, such as J Balvin, with whom he also had a fight. On the other hand, as a reference and without a negative connotation, the rapper mentioned Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, Don Omar, Ricky Martin and Juan Luis Guerra.

René ends his song assuring that it will be the last ‘tiradera’ he does, since it indicates that he let off steam and that he possibly dedicates himself to making ‘ballads’, the latter in an ironic tone.

“I’ve let off steam now / Now I’m going to get rid of all the shooters, now / I’m not going to shoot anyone else / I swear, I promise, now / It’s over, now, I’m not interested, bastard” ”said.
