The Lima International Book Fair This Friday, August 4, a cosplay contest will be held for the public over 5 years of age, as well as the presentation of a “dance cover” by a K-pop group. The activities will take place in the Blanca Varela auditorium at 5 pm
the dance show will be carried out by the Purple Univ groupwho will interpret the choreographies of queencard by (G)I-DLE, Bite Me, Enhypen, as well as First of Everglow and will end with Mic Drop from BTS.
On the other hand, the first cosplay contest It is aimed at everyone: adults, children, professionals and amateurs. The theme of the competition will be free.
The first cosplay contest of the IDF will have three categories: children, amateurs and professionals. Children from 5 to 12 years old can participate in the first. The second is for youth and adults ages 13 and up. The third category is focused on young people and adults over 13 years of age who belong to a cosplay club.
Contestants will have 30 seconds on stage to act out and represent their character. To participate it is important that those interested fill in this form.
The contest jury will evaluate the entrants on these criteria: accuracy of the cosplay, ease with the costume, acting, characterization and creativity. The first three places, in each category, will win a FIL Lima 2023 Pack.
The Lima 2023 International Book Fair will take place at the Próceres de la Independencia Park, located on the 17th block of Salaverry Avenue, in Jesús MarÃa. General tickets cost S/ 7.00, that of students S/ 3.00. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays the cost of the entrance ticket is S/ 5.00.
FIL 2023 is organized by the Peruvian Book Chamber with the support of the Ministry of Culture. It is promoted by the Municipality of Jesús MarÃa and sponsored by the BBVA Foundation and the César Vallejo University, as well as the RPP Group, El Comercio and Jetsmart.
