“Top Gun 3” is in development and Tom Cruise will return as Maverick Mitchell

The Paramount film studio has begun work on the third part of the successful action saga ‘Top Gun’ and hopes to be able to add actor Tom Cruise to its main cast again, Puck, an American media focused on business, reported this Friday.

The news of the third installment of ‘Top Gun’ comes just three days after an agreement was made public between Cruise and the Warner Bros. Discovery studio for the actor to produce, develop and star in new films or franchises starting this year. under an association described as “strategic” by both parties.
