Residente announces concert in Peru as part of his world tour “Las Letras Ya No Importan”

René Pérez Joglar, better known as Resident, announced their official tour called “Las Letras Ya No Importan” after the release of their second album of the same name. As part of his international tour, he included Peru with a single date on October 9 at Multiespacio Costa 21.

This long-awaited tour will begin in September, visiting fifteen cities in the countries of Spain, the United States, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Puerto Rico. Fans will be able to embark, together with Residente, on the musical and emotional exploration of this album.

“Las Letras Ya No Importan” is Residente’s second solo album and has 23 songs, which include collaborations with great artists such as Penélope Cruz, Ricky Martin, Busta Rhymes, Vico C, Big Daddy Kane, Rauw Alejandro, Christian Nodal, Arcangel, Jessie Reyez, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Ibeyi, WOS, Nino Freestyle, Amal Murkus, SFDK and AI2 El Aldeano.

Recently, “Las Letras Ya No Importan” obtained gold certification in Mexico thanks to its sales success. Additionally, the album debuted at number two on Spotify’s “Top Global Debut Albums” chart upon its release.

This recording project includes work on some music video releases, directed by Residente, over the course of a year including “This Is Not America”, “René”, “ Quiero Ser Baladista” ft with Ricky Martin, “Problema Cabrón” ft WOS, “Ron En El Piso” and his most recent song, “313″ with Penélope Cruz and Silvia Pérez Cruz. “313″ was a tribute to time in memory of Valentina, a close friend who passed away. She worked closely with him and played the violin.
