The proximity of Valentine’s Day makes many look for an alternative for a romantic getaway. The Nautical Rose offers a romantic experience in the sea of ​​Lima, its history dates back to 1983, the year in which Carlín Semsch conceived the idea of ​​creating a restaurant on the sea, a concept that surprised locals and foreigners and that has gained international fame with its gastronomic offer.

To begin with, ceviches are a must-have dish in your meal, the value of these ranges between approximately 64 to 74 soles. The shrimp cocktail has become one of the restaurant’s most requested items and costs around 66 soles. But if you want to try several dishes at the same time, you can order a marine round that can cost between 96 soles and 144 soles, the price will depend on how many the dish is for: two or four people.

But seafood is not the restaurant’s only offering, Creole dishes are also present on the menu such as lomo saltado, rice with duck, lomo with three peppers, among others, these vary between 59 and 80 soles.

From the end of 2023, chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino came in to renew the menu of the historic restaurant. These are three unmissable dishes:

Sole with shrimp

There are still dishes with shrimp before the season ends, since it is a golden rule to work with seasonal products. In addition to these dishes, Schiaffino assures that they maintain the classics of La Rosa Náutica, those that have been the hallmark of this table for more than 40 years, such as the parihuela, the shrimp cocktail or even the lomo saltado. Within this kitchen, we find master cebicheros with decades of experience.
