Mohamed Salah, after beating United: “They made our life easier in midfield and in defence”

He scored a brace and was one of the figures in Liverpool’s win over Manchester United, as part of matchday 30 of the Premier League. We talked about Mohamed Salah, who once again shone with the ‘Reds’ and, at the end of the match at Anfield, explained how the ‘Red Devils’ made their task easier to make a difference.

“They made our life easier in midfield and in defence. They always tried to give us the ball in 1v1 situations. They made our life so much easier. We had a clean sheet there (Old Trafford) and here (Anfield). They made it easier for us to score.” declared the Egyptian in an interview with Sky Sport.

“We went to the game and we wanted to score a goal. After scoring the first, we wanted the second. And after the second, we went for the third. It was a TOP performance from us, here and as visitors. We hope to continue like this.” added Salah, who is the top scorer in the competition, with 22 goals.

On the other hand, the ‘Pharaoh’ expressed his joy at his goalscoring ability, although he made it clear that the most important thing is the victories that Liverpool can obtain.

“I have said it many times: I scored a lot of goals for this club, I knew they would keep coming. Sometimes you have bad luck, but the most important thing is that the team keeps winning. If the team wasn’t winning, I wouldn’t be happy. But the team is winning, everything is coming, so I wasn’t worried.” the 29-year-old attacker said.

In addition to Salah, the Colombian Luis Díaz and the Senegalese Sadio Mané also scored to help Liverpool keep the three points and climb to the top of the English league, waiting for what Manchester City can do against Brighton on Wednesday.
