Kyrgios shines in Stuttgart: he served between his legs and won the match | VIDEO

The irreverent Nick Kyrgios (ATP: 78) returned to the courts, to the delight of all the fans on tour. The Australian tennis player has been competing in the ATP 250 in Stuttgart and this Tuesday he debuted with victory in the singles category, after beating the Czech Jiri Lehecka (ATP: 79) 2-0, with partial 6-7 (3-7) and 3-6.

True to his style, the ‘Bad Boy’ showed off his talent and, at the end of the match, gave a great luxury to the fans present at the Tennisclub Weissenhof. In the second set, the representative of Australia had taken the lead 3-5, he had the service and everything in his favor to win.

Kyrgios did not waste the opportunity to serve, he was very solid and reached a convincing 0-40 in the game, decreeing a match point. Under these circumstances, Nick decided to surprise his opponent and cheer up the audience in the sports arena: he executed a tweener, the popular shot between the legs.

The ‘Bad Boy’ was very precise and sent the ball towards the service box, an area that Jiri Lehecka was able to reach, although he was not comfortable and responded with a faulty shot. The ball fell out of the field and the victory of the Australian was consummated, while the applause fell from the stands.

In this way, Kyrgios gets to the round of 16 of the ATP 250 in Stuttgart and will have to wait to meet his rival: he will face the winner of the duel between the Italian Lorenzo Musetti (ATP: 57) and the Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili (ATP: 26 ).
