Mané’s new number

After his six-year stay in Liverpool, Sadio Mané seeks to renew himself completely at Bayern Munich and will precisely have a change in the numbering that constantly accompanied him in his career: now he will wear number 17. The number belonged to defender Jérome Boateng, who A year ago he left the club.

Although the Senegalese has been identified with the ’10’ for much of his career, this time he will not be able to use it, since it belongs to Leroy Sané. It is worth mentioning that the striker carried that precious number on his back with Salzburg (Austria), Southampton and Liverpool (since 2018, after taking 19 in his first two campaigns).
