Joelinton invites Neymar to join Newcastle: “The 10 shirt awaits you”

Neymar’s stay at PSG does not seem certain, despite having a contract with the club until June 30, 2025. In the last few hours, rumors of the skilful Brazilian attacker’s departure have increased and Joelinton, his compatriot and figure of Newcastle took the opportunity to invite him to join the ‘Magpies’ project.

“Of course we can get you a place. In any team in the world, he is and will be… I can’t explain it. The man is an idol, he is huge in world football.”said the 25-year-old midfielder in an interview for Cast Futebol Clube in his country.

“So, the invitation is made. ‘Ney’, if you’re listening to this, you can come! I will run to you all the time. Here at the defense we assure you. It will be easy”added Joelinton, imagining the possibility of sharing a team with the former Barcelona player.

“Neymar has great qualities, like visibility. So, if we have the possibility, we have to call him. The number 10 shirt is here waiting for him (it currently belongs to Allan Saint-Maximin)”highlighted the footballer from Newcastle, who has become one of the great figures of the English institution after three seasons.

Finally, Joelinton revealed the strategy that ‘The Magpies’ could use to convince the ’10’ of the Brazilian team. “I will speak with Bruno (Guimaraes), because he has his contact. That way, he will be able to send a message to ‘Ney’, inviting him to play here”concluded the flyer.
