Bryan Reyna scored a great goal in Cantolao’s win over Ayacucho FC | VIDEO

Cantolao left the last position of the Apertura 2022 table by beating Ayacucho FC 2-1 as a visitor. The ‘Delfin’ turned the scoreboard around thanks to a great goal from Bryan Reyna that silenced the Ciudad de Cumaná Stadium.

At 61 minutes, the match was tied (1-1) due to goals from Royer Salcedo (9′) for the ‘Zorros’ and, later, Rodrigo Pastorini tied it. The local team came out looking for the victory, but Diego Morales stole the ball near the middle of the field and went on the run.

The ’10’ of the cast put together a great wall with Reyna who took out Edinson Chávez with the classic roulette maneuver. Bryan was left alone in front of the goal and finished off strong to overcome Andy Vidal’s resistance.

In this way, the Peruvian winger registers his second goal in the championship and helps his team to escape from the relegation zone. Now, Cantolao is ranked 16th with 15 units and broke a bad streak of two consecutive losses.

For its part, Ayacucho FC is the team that is in last place (12 points) and adds its tenth game in a row without knowing victory. The ‘Foxes’ will have to worry about saving the loss.

When do Ayacucho FC and Cantolao play again?

The team from Ayacucho will debut in Clausura 2022 against Municipal as a local on Saturday, July 9. On the other side, Cantolao will visit Universitario de Deportes on Sunday the 10th starting at 3:30 pm (Peruvian time).
