Erasmo Vidal, father of the Chilean soccer player, Arturo vidal, lost his life this Tuesday, October 11 around 8:30 in the morning. According to the Chilean press, it would be a cardiorespiratory arrest due to hypovolemic shock which would have caused the man’s death.
After learning of this tragic news, everyone thought that the midfielder of the Chilean team would ask Flamengo to fly to his country, however, the opposite happened, the player was registered by the club for the first leg of the final of the Brazil Cup against Corinthians, which will be played this Wednesday.
HOW WAS THE DEATH OF VIDAL’S DAD?
The soccer player’s father was at the Club Hípico de Santiago and, given his poor state of health, the witnesses requested emergency assistance from SAMU.
Later, the authorities of the Chilean racecourse reported what happened and revealed that the paramedics working on the premises were the first to perform the care, after the warning of the security agents, but there was no improvement. In parallel, contact had already been established with the Emergency Medical Care Service in Chile.
However, despite the fact that the ambulance carried out the first aid work, Don Erasmo was unable to react, his condition worsened and, according to the Equestrian Club statement, he had a “cardiorespiratory arrest and hypovolemic shock.” Unfortunately, Arturo Vidal’s father could not resist and passed away.
