Luis Suárez is champion in Nacional: the striker lifted the title of the Clausura Tournament

Luis Suárez returned to Nacional in the middle of the year with his mind set on conquering the Uruguayan championship. For now, the striker completed a first pass, as he lifted the Clausura Tournament title and there is only one more step left to achieve the goal.

With the ‘Pistolero’ for 90 minutes, the ‘Bolso’ beat Cerrito 2-1 as a visitor. Facundo Fagúndez (19′) and Felipe Carballo (47′) scored the winning goals, while Julián Perujo scored the discount for the local team in the final minutes of the game (88′).
