Cristiano reveals that he “feels betrayed”: United’s mistreatment and bad relationship with Ten Hag

Cristiano Ronaldo’s stay at Manchester United during the 2022-23 season has not been the best and everything indicates that he could leave the team in the January transfer market. The Portuguese footballer decided to tell everything he has experienced since his return to England and revealed that he was not treated well at the ‘Red Devils’.

“United betrayed me. They have turned me into a black sheep”explained the striker in an interview with Piers Morgan. “They tried to force me out, not only the coach, but also the other guys around the club. I felt betrayed”added ‘CR7′ about his stay at Old Trafford.

In the same way, Cristiano assured that this feeling of not being valued by the ‘Red Devils’ had already been reflected for several months. “I feel that some people did not want me in Manchester, not only this year, but since last season”indicated the experienced striker.

“As Picasso said, you have to destroy something to rebuild it… and if they start with me, it’s not a problem for me. A club of this size should be at the top, but it is not like that, there are no excuses”he highlighted.

In addition, the attacker commented on the reason for his bad relationship with Erik ten Hag, current DT of Manchester United, which was evidenced the times he was a substitute: “I have no respect for him, because he has no respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I will never have it for you.”.

In the same context, ‘CR7’ also targeted Ralf Rangnick, who was the club’s strategist until last season. “If you’re not even a manager, how are you going to be the leader of United? I had never even heard of him.”said Cristiano Ronaldo.
