Tite is optimistic: “I still believe that Neymar will play again”

The Brazilian team will face Switzerland this Monday with the aim of getting the three points and thus securing their place in the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar 2022. However, the South American team will have two important casualties for this duel, as Neymar and Danilo were injured in the match against Serbia.

In this sense, Tite, technical director of the ‘Canarinha’ will look for the best alternatives to replace the mentioned players. Although, in the preview of the duel against the ‘Red Crosses’, he was optimistic with the speedy recovery of both the striker and the winger.

“I think that Neymar and Danilo will continue playing in the World Cup, that is my opinion, in medical matters I cannot speak about it, because I am not in that position. We believe they will be available to play.” declared the Brazilian strategist at a press conference.

Regarding the treatment of ’10’, DT mentioned that the footballer is “Doing physiotherapy 24 hours a day. Today I see him much better, it is important to have a good head, I see him very well and confident in his return “.

On the other hand, the DT highlighted the virtues of the team’s ’10’ and lamented the constant fouls he received against Serbia. “Brazil relies on all the great talents it has. Neymar is an exceptional player, but we trust everyone. If you want to reward football, we have to be careful and pay attention to the repetition of fouls, because they focus on particular players and this affects. This has to stop.”he added.
