Yvelin: the house of ex-PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic robbed

Bad surprise for Vahid Khalilhodzic. The former Paris Saint-Germain coach was the victim of a robbery on Sunday at his home in Louveciennes (Yvelines). It all happened in the afternoon, in the absence of the former Parisian coach.

According to the first version, the perpetrators entered the pavilion by breaking a window located in the back, according to a police source. Then they seized the safe, which contained money, jewelry and even luxury watches. The damage is estimated at 80,000 euros.

Wahid Khalilhodzic, 70, coached PSG from 2003 to 2005. In France, he also coached the teams of Lille, Rennes and Nantes. The Franco-Bosnian technician has also captained the Japanese national team and several African teams such as Algeria, Ivory Coast or, more recently, Morocco, which currently compete in the contested World Cup in Qatar.

Thefts committed in the homes of PSG players or former players, or even their relatives, are not uncommon. In March 2021, the father of the defender Marquinhos was isolated in Chatou, still in Yvelines. Julien Draxler in Saint-Cloud (Hauts-de-Seine) or Angel Di Maria in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine) have also recently paid the price for robbers.

In June 2021, a four-man team was tried in Paris for burglary of several players, including former captain Thiago Silva, and some individuals living in and around Paris. She raised over 4 million euros.
