Arturo Vidal on Argentina: “He still lives with the Copa América and nobody says anything”

In an interview for Prensa Fútbol, ​​’King’ Arturo, first, wanted to clear up doubts about a possible withdrawal from the national team after launching a survey on his social networks, where his followers had to vote whether or not to continue representing Chile.

“The history of the possible withdrawal of the national team was a game, because I think that lately the national team has lost a bit of respect and affection. The criticism has been very strong despite the fact that it is being tested,” said the 35-year-old footballer.

Then, he referred to the strong criticism of which they were the target, but not before giving a pang to Argentina. “There is a lot of criticism for being left out of the World Cup, but no one remembers when we raised two cups, how difficult and important it was, but after two years everyone forgot. Argentina still lives with the Copa América, they celebrate it every time they can and nobody says anything to them”, pointed out the Flamengo midfielder.

Finally, he could not miss the moment to glimpse what he will look like in the future, when he leaves the courts. “I aim to be a coach of the Chilean team. I want to finish my course, get my coaching card and in the future be the coach of the national team. Being able to deliver what I know and what all the coaches I have had have given me, ”he concluded.
