The Portugal team started the second half with their foot on the accelerator over Switzerland. Due to this pressure that was imposed on the bank, the team led by Fernando Santos scored 4-0 and thus, ensures qualification for the quarterfinals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
At 55 minutes, Otávio won the ball and gave it to João Félix who, instantly, played with Goncalo Ramos. Then, the attacking scorer of the match touched with Raphael Guerreiro who controlled the ball, entered the area and took a powerful shot to overcome Sommer’s resistance.
In this way, the Portuguese team goes to the next stage and, now, will face Morocco, which gave the surprise by eliminating Spain in a penalty shootout. The commitment is scheduled for Saturday 10 at 10 am (Peruvian time) at the Al Thumama Stadium.

Portugal vs. Switzerland: what’s next
If the Portuguese get into the top eight in the tournament, they will achieve a feat: a pass to the quarterfinals, which has been elusive since England 1966 and with Cristiano Ronaldo at the helm, who -perhaps- is playing his last international competition with the colors of their country, they want to continue dreaming of the World title.
As for Switzerland, the Helvetians, led by Xherdan Shaqiri, Granit Shaka, Ricardo Rodríguez, Fabian Shär and Yann Sommer, are regulars in the final stages (of the last 10 major competitions they only missed Euro 2012), so with this golden generation hope to make history in the Middle East pageant.
