PSG: 71% of football fans think Paris should keep Christophe Galtier

Paris Saint-Germain must not sack Christophe Galtier until March 8, when the 8th Champions League final second leg against Bayern takes place. This is the opinion of 59% of the French polled by Odoxa, according to a survey conducted for Winamax and RTL after the Parisians lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich on Tuesday. Similarly, 71% of football fans believe that the French coach should not be replaced between now and the second leg.

Paris keeps the chances of qualifying. Having suffered a 1-0 defeat in the first quarter-final match against the Bavarians in 2021, the Parisians reversed the trend on their return (3-2) and joined the last C1 four. Nevertheless, Galtier’s wards have three defeats in a row, and such dynamics does not inspire optimism among the respondents. 60% of the French do not believe in the Paris qualification, and 54% of football fans predict the end of the course of the capital club from this 8th final.

This potential excursion could change Galtier’s opinion of followers. Moreover, according to football fans, it was in the tactical organization that PSG sinned against Munich. 71% of the French think things are pretty bad in the sector in Paris, while 67% say the French team struggled collectively and in terms of commitment.

Kylian Mbappe, who came out shortly before the hour mark, was named the best player in Paris by 72% of football fans. His return to the Parc des Princes coincided with the Paris event. His equalizing goal was canceled due to Nuno Mendes’ minimalist offside early in the game.
