Reimond Manco and his adventure in Soccer 7 in the United States: the reasons why he does not return to professional soccer

Until last year, Reimond Manco played professional soccer. He wore the colors of Santos FC and Juan Aurich, in the Peruvian Soccer League 2. However, for this 2023 he did not sign for any team.

For this reason, this 2023 Reimond surprised everyone with his presence in hosting a program on YouTube (Cojo y Manco) and above all by reinforcing Los Íntimos in the Soccer Super League 7. There, Rei showed all his talent in just three matches to lead the Blue and Whites to the title, defeating none other than Embajadur Crema in the final.

And while his return to soccer was awaited, the news that he was signing for Jackson TN Boom, sister team of the Jackson TN Underdawgs basketball team from Tennessee, was surprising. The American team announced it as its “first international signing” with a video showing Manco’s best plays with a Peruvian soccer club shirt.

The question that everyone is asking is if Reimond Manco will wear the jersey of a top team again. He himself recently confessed that he is only waiting for the call of a team to return to football, but for now he is not motivated to return to activity.

A year ago his father passed away, or as he calls it, his “greatest critic”. It was a very hard blow within his family, but little by little he has been overcoming that pain.

However, for Reimond Manco, football is more than just getting ready. “I know I can play, but I don’t want to disrespect football,” he says of his current moment. El Rei finds no motivation to be part of a team at the moment.

“It’s not about getting physically fit. Mine happens to motivate you from here [se señala la cabeza]. If I motivate myself, I can do it, but I have to be well from here (in my head) ”, she assured a few weeks ago in an interview with Yako Ezkenazi for América TV.

Reimond has not played professional football again and is only waiting for the call of a team to find that motivation to return to the playing fields. “I would like to return to Boys. We saved him once and now I see it’s wrong. It would motivate me to help them. If it is another team, it is not born for me ”, he assured in the aforementioned note.

For this reason, now Reimond Manco is showing his talent in Soccer 7 and his good footing has allowed him to reach Jackson TN Boom, where he has been training for several weeks. Even a video of him doing a chalaca went viral in recent days.

The tournament

The TST organizes a series of tournaments, mainly basketball, always with entertainment as its main capital. This time he has decided to watch soccer 7 and has developed a contest with a series of rules that makes it different from the others, with the final prize of one million dollars.

The TST 7V7 starts this June 1 at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Caray, North Carolina and there we will see Reimond Manco in the Jackson TN Boom.

The rules
Definition of the match in a special time

There are 32 teams that will play in the World Cup format: group stage with eight groups of four teams each, where the best two advance to the round of 16.

Each team will have 24 players, three of them called “mysterious”, since the rivals did not know their identity until May 23.

After the two times of 20 minutes, the so-called Objective Time will be played, which will be to score one more goal than the team that has the most goals. Whoever gets to it first wins the match. That is, if the two times end 5-4 for a team, the goal time wins the first to reach 6 points.
