Christophe Galtier faces a maximum sentence of three years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros, the prosecutor said. His son John Valovich Galtier remained at large. According to Nice-Matin, the two men were detained by police around 8:45 am at the premises of the Oware police station.

Christophe Galtier, who denied these allegations, filed a complaint on April 21 against Julien Fournier and two journalists for death threats and slander.
