Roberto Palacios on Juan Reynoso: “He cannot be satisfied because he only made one point out of six”

Palacios was very saddened by the end of the match against Brazil, but stressed that it is only the first part of the competition and it is too premature to draw conclusions.

This is just beginning but we have to keep working, improving, to fight for World Cup qualification,” he said.

Joao Grimaldo made his debut in the senior team, leaving good feelings for the former captain of the red and white team, who considered that he should have had more minutes on the field before facing the ‘scratch’.

“I would have been encouraged to put him in the previous friendlies so that he could gain experience in the national team. Juan took it into consideration because the boy does things well in Cristal, he also did it in the Copa Libertadores,” Palacios argued.

“But I wouldn’t have started him against Brazil either, because those games are very spicy, the boy has to go little by little. From less to more. Juan did well. I imagine that for the next games he is going to give him more time.
